Ergonomics, Nutrition and Eating for Energy

This session will provide participants with an overview of how to increase their energy level using food. Participants will look at the types of foods that are best to consume for physical energy, mental alertness, productivity and a healthy body weight. In addition, participants will be provided with specific yoga stretches that will stimulate blood circulation, increase the energy level and sharpen the mind.

Bio
Phyllis C. Reid-Jarvis , R.D., is a Registered Dietitian and President of PRJ Consulting & Health Services, a company that specializes in health and wellness consultations since 1992.
She has written and developed wellness programs for workplaces and schools, and has provided individual nutrition counseling and consultations on a variety of health-related topics.
Phyllis has a Bachelor’s Degree in Foods & Nutrition from the University of Manitoba and a Diploma in Dietetics from the Health Sciences Center.
She is a member of the College of Dietitians of Manitoba, Dietitians of Canada, and Consulting Dietitians Network.
She is currently enrolled as an occasional student in the Masters of Public Health program through the University of Manitoba.
Phyllis is the author of the book, Solutions for Health… How to Do More of What Works!
