Presenters’ Bios

Tony Richardson:

Tony is a Partner in the law firm of McInnes Cooper in Fredericton with a practice in asset recovery and insolvency law. He concentrates on creditor’s rights cases, representing secured and unsecured creditors in recovery matters under the Personal Property Security Act and the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act. He represents institutional clients in the asset finance, inventory, equipment leasing and conditional sales sections. He regularly appears in the Bankruptcy, Insolvency and Trial divisions of the New Brunswick Court of Queen’s Bench.

Tony is fluently bilingual and represents clients in both official languages. He obtained a law degree from l’Université de Moncton and is a graduate of l’Université Sainte Anne. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Society, the Law Society of New Brunswick and the York-Sunbury Law Society. In his spare time, he is a dedicated salmon angler.

Jamie Jurczak:

Jamie is a lawyer in the law firm of Taylor McCaffrey in Winnipeg with a practice in labour and employment and litigation. She has also lectured on the topics of Obtaining Employee Medical Information and Workplace Safety and Health Prosecutions and Due Diligence. She currently participates in the Manitoba Bar Association Constitutional-Human Rights Subsection, CACE Occupational Health and Safety Subcommittee, and holds the position of President for Gearshifting Performance Works. She has also authored "Building Safer Workplaces in Manitoba - Tools for Lawyers Advising Clients on Workplace Safety and Health Matters", 2007 Pitblado Lectures Conference Materials, "Issues in Obtaining Employee Medical Information and Documentation", Materials for Lorman Education ServicesEmployee Dismissal and Documentation Seminar, January 2009.

Jamie obtained her law degree from the University of Ottawa and is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, Manitoba Bar Association, Canadian Association of Counsel to Employers and JCI Winnipeg/Winnipeg Junior Chamber of Commerce. Jamie has previously presented for the ARMA Winnipeg Chapter on Discovery in 2007.
