Session Description

ARMA’s Core Competencies are a good tool for the records manager to develop their career path and for HR departments to design various levels of advancement within an organization. It can also be used as a tool for developing a program audit as well as for developing a corporate Records and Information Management strategy.  

This session will briefly review the design of the Core Competencies and touch on the uses for a career development. The main two focuses of the session will be using the tool for both developing a strategy and an audit tool

Biography

Steve Neilly is a Certified Records Manager and CEO of Information Innovation Inc. Steve is an 18 year veteran of the information management industry and regularly shares his knowledge with information management audiences across North America.  His knowledge crosses many industries and government sectors as well as spanning all facets of the information management realm.
